GOOD THINGS

Scripture Reading - Psalms 103:1-5

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. KJV

Our time on this earth is very valuable as we make an impact on the lives of countless people around us. There are times when someone is watching you so every smile, joyful expression and action we do has the potential of blessing someone else. There are also times when someone is listening to you so every kind word, every word of truth (edification) and every word of direction has the possibility of blessing that person, whether saint or sinner. Each time you go an extra mile for a person in need of help the Lord God Almighty is watching. We (ihlcc) are convinced that the seemingly small acts of love have a lasting effect in those people’s lives whom we touch. We know the Lord gave us a mouth to communicate good things. Those good things include truth, wisdom and righteousness but it also includes smiles and expressions of peace and assurance. Take full advantage of any opportunity you have to bless some else with your mouth thus fulfilling God’s Law of Love. Act quickly and decisively when seizing a moment to share your kindness with people you come in contact with. Your ministry, attitude and actions are vital to the success of the Body of Christ so be mindful to always be a blessing.

Remember a smile is a good thing the Lord has satisfied your mouth with along with God’s Word spoken in the Love of Jesus! Speaking good words and showing good expressions works in two ways first it blesses our Heavenly Father when you speak to Him and the GodHead and it works wonders toward men upon the earth.
